The Book of Scouting โ Volume One by Tarkan Batgun, CEO of Comparisonator was launched with the sponsorship of Acibadem Sports Academy. As part of the event, a panel titled โChanging Scouting and Transfersโ was held.
Moderated by Comparisonatorโs PR Director, Didem Dilmen, the panel featured former Head Coach of the Turkish Football Federation, Abdullah Avcฤฑ, former Vice President of the Turkish Football Federation, Dr. Mustafa Erogut & our CEO Tarkan Batgun. They shared their perspectives on “The Book of Scouting”, reflected on their past experiences, and discussed what lies ahead for the world of football.

Abdullah Avci:
โWhere we want to go, and why we make transfer decisions, must always be explained clearly. I knew how important teamwork was, so we built an organization where responsibilities were shared across the team. In the past, transfers were often made based on intuition, experience and expertise. Today, they are increasingly driven by data, ai and information. The final decision is no longer solely with the technical director or the administrative side, but with the department as a whole”
Dr. Mustafa Erogut:
โLet me share my thoughts on the book. What Iโve observed is that one of the most important needs for our young people today is access to resources in sports management. I truly hope “The Book of Scouting Volume One” will serve as a guide for our university students, academics and team executives. Well done on your efforts, Tarkan.
